On June 9, 2014, England Furniture’s Plant 6 attained a significant safety milestone by going 10 years without a time lost accident. Given the nature of the work – and the type of equipment used at Plant 6, our woodcutting facility – England Furniture considers this a proud and huge achievement. Plant Manager (Jerry Blair), and the England Furniture employees at this plant, deserve our recognition of a job well done. Plant 6 personnel enjoyed a steak lunch at the Plant 8 cafeteria, the receipt of a WOW tee-shirt commemorating the date, individual monetary rewards, and a drawing for additional furniture prizes.  Hearty expressions of appreciation from England Furniture management accompanied the festivities.  Judging by the pictures taken at the meal, everyone welcomed a chance to take a break from the daily routine and to get ready to work toward the next no lost time goal of 11 years. We are all keeping our fingers crossed for Jerry and his crew. Go Plant 6!
